Charlottetown Comics Club | Gathering weekly since 2016, The Charlottetown Comics Club exists as a loose collective of cartooning appreciators and enthusiasts of all stripes. The club works on a fluid sense of members needs - as workshop, discussion/support group, and general appreciation society. Members participate in club projects, exchange narrative and drawing ideas and techniques, and contribute to club publications.
Christina White Artis an island artist with a passion for illustrations and paintings.
Evan Furnessis an interdisciplinary artist from rural Epekwitk whose work explores connections between the everyday, the uncanny, his rural experience and wider popular culture. His practice uses immediate methods of image making such as self published zines, observational drawings and paintings, cellphone videos and audio, combined with intentionally restrictive, often arduous, and durational parameters that define the work. Integral to his practice is a DIY approach, keeping handmade and low tech approaches as a central focus of his practice.

Jane Affleck / Intertidal Arts writes and draws in unceded Epekwitk/PEI. She makes comics and zines, and sometimes prints and postcards of her watercolour paintings that depict beings who live in the intertidal zone. Two new zines will be featured at the Ch’town Zine Fest in fall 2026: one called "June/Júní" that contrasts a month in Iceland with violent global events, and another called "Lefties," comprising a series of different animals drawn with her left (non-dominant) hand juxtaposed with slogans/phrases from/about left-wing politics (e.g., “Eat the rich,” “Believe women,” etc.).
Jordan Beaulieu is an artist whose work combines drawing and poetry. She is also a freelance book designer and the co-creator of the Ch’town Zine Fest.

They attempt to turn all they touch into zines; their cats are sick of being photocopied so are organizing to unionize for better Feline Companion workplaces. *no cats were injured, harmed, nor were their employment rights breached in the production of any of Kim's zines. When Kim is not making zines, they are creating robot dioramas, collaging, making artist trading cards, painting, and cooking Indian food.
Laura K. Watsonis an artist and writer. She makes zines, prints, cards, calendars, stickers, and other printed goods that feature hand-lettered poetry and illustrations in coloured pencil. Liam McKenna Art and Comics is a high school english and social studies teacher who makes comics and draws pictures in his spare time. He released the graphic novel Release Barabbas! in 2019, and most recently completed a short story one-shot, Chatterbox in the fall of 2025. Marcus Dénommé / Veins & Arterys is a graphic artist from the Timiskaming region of North Eastern Ontario. Their practice is focused on the stamp and stencil as a tool for developing a graphic/visual language, and disseminating information democratically. Dénommé is the publication designer and editor of the Veins & Arterys book press. On one occasion, they used a slim jim to sneak into a studio and finish printing that summer’s publication.

Rachel Thornton is an artist and arts worker living in Sackville, NB, within Mi’kma’ki. In their practice, Rachel explores connections between the body, astronomy, speculative fiction and the history of science through collage, zines and digital projects. In 2015 they founded the Teeny Tiny Zine Library at Mount Allison University and continue to be a part of its collecting and programming.

Sandy Carruthersis a comic book creator from Prince Edward Island. His past comic work includes Invaders from Mars, Captain Canuck and Men in Black. He is currently working with various artists and writers throughout the Maritimes to produce DARK COAST, a horror anthology all set in Atlantic Canada.
